“This place was awesome! Missy was our event coordinator and it couldn’t have gone better- thanks to her! She was so open to our suggestions and also gave us advice as to what she’s learned in her years of planning. Missy was extremely professional and flexible. We had to make a minor change five days before the wedding and she made the changes immediately with no problem. The venue was gorgeous, I was nervous about having my reception in a ballroom as I was hoping for something a little more country, but I wouldn’t have changed it now looking back. The staff was so fun and friendly also.”

 

“From the outside, this event center doesn’t look like much. But TRUST ME! Give it a chance. We had our wedding reception in the grand ballroom and it felt like we were in a dreamy, whimsical garden with the flowing white drapery and lanterns hanging from the ceilings. Truly, this place gave me goosebumps the moment I walked in for set up. The location and the look isn’t what sold us though… it was the staff and the food.. . . . . . THE FOOD! My GOD! My husband had one taste of their angus beef short ribs and A) said this is what he was eating on his wedding day and B) that it was the best beef dish he had ever had. Even our pickiest eaters had nothing but amazing things to say about this food. Another thing, Christine and her staff take food allergies/accommodations extremely seriously. Overall, if you want wedding planning to be less stressful, have good food, great wine, an amazing location then I don’t think you have to look any further. Love this place and its people!!”

 

“Christine was our coordinator and she went above and beyond in every way to help us plan our big day! She responded to all of our questions so quickly and had ideas of what would work and what wouldn’t. One of the biggest reasons we went with Medina is because the price you pay for the entire night is so reasonable for what you get. The food was sooo good (we recommend the kona crusted short ribs)!! People are still talking about the food a month later. They take care of so many things that hiring other companies for rentals wasn’t needed. Our dj was even included since we went with their preferred company. We also rented bowling lanes during our cocktail hour and our guests loved it. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Christine and Medina! Thank you, Christine for making our day amazing!”

 

“Working with Medina Catering was the best experience I could have asked for, Missy was incredibly attentive and was incredibly prompt in answering any questions we had. We had a larger reception of 230 people and for bar service and plated dinner it was the perfect price for us on a budget. We received SO many compliments on the portion size and the quality of food, we had large amount of left over cake due to everyone being so full from dinner, there wasn’t room for dessert! The service on the day of the wedding was superb, the servers were incredibly prompt and made sure all of our guests had everything they needed. I highly recommend Medina Catering to all my friends and family planning events, it was hands down the best experience we could have ever asked for.”

“My husband and I wanted a venue that could accommodate a ceremony and reception in the same building. We wanted both events to be indoors due to unpredictable MN weather, and a hotel next door for our out of town guests and for those who wanted to stay all night and not have to worry about driving home. After looking at two other venues before Medina Entertainment Center, we needed to look no further. The venue is beautiful, and the catering coordinators (Missy and Christine) are AMAZING at what they do!! They were super friendly, patient, and helped my husband and I every step of the way; and the other catering staff worked like a well oiled machine the day of our wedding too. If we were to do our big day over again, I would still pick the Medina Entertainment Center to be our venue!”

 

“We had the greatest experience working with the Medina Entertainment Center for our wedding. From our initial meeting with Missy to her call to check in a couple of days after our big day, we were delighted with the best customer service, follow through and help and guidance along the way. The night of our wedding, we had around 400 guests and could not have been more pleased with the turnout. Those who helped set up, check in throughout the night, the cooks, wait staff, cleanup crew – everyone did an exceptional job. Looking back, the only thing we would have done differently is have our rehearsal dinner at the MEC too! In addition to the service, the food was the best we’ve had, and got compliments from so many of our guests. All in all, our night was perfect, and much of that credit is due to Missy and her team! “Everything about Medina Catering was wonderful. From the initial inquiry and the responsiveness to all questions we had along the way. Missy was truly so flexible to everything we needed and dealt with our mothers perfectly! We were able to try the food at a tasting and were thoroughly impressed. Medina worked with our venue perfectly and we had no issues with the flow of the evening. The food was amazing and many of our wedding guests complimented on how wonderful all the food was. The staff at the event was attentive to our needs as well as the guests and accommodated any special requests we had (i.e. releasing the tables with young children to the buffet first to allow them to fill their tiny bellys). The food was hot and the timing was just as planned. Missy at Medina even followed up right after the event to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend Medina to any bride looking for a caterer who will offer your guests good food and reduce your stress level! I have not a bad thing to say.”

 

“We had our wedding here this weekend in the grand ballroom on 8/31 and all I can say is WOW. It was absolutely magical. The space is incredible even without any decoration, but once we added the finishing touches it exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing and well priced for the quantity we needed. We worked with Missy Miller; she made it so easy to plan out our day and helped everything run smoothly. The bar was wonderful with great drinks and great service. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We’ve been here for live music, Friday night dinners, and bowling and it’s always fantastic and the staff are extremely friendly. We will definitely attach some pictures once we get some back from our photographer! It was the best experience ever!!! Thank you all so much!”
